Equipment - “One call, we bring it all.”
In addition to the rigorous safety training program, Spool-Tech designed its equipment with the manufacturer to be safer than industry requirements. By standardizing its fleet, Management is ensuring that its equipment keeps the safety of the service techs and rig crews are at the forefront of every operation. After buying and retrofitting its first capillary tubing trailer, Management decided that the equipment needed to be more efficient, powerful, and user friendly. As a result, the Company secured a contract with a fabricator to design and custom build its proprietary equipment. Management believes that the up-front investment, combined with a meticulous repair and maintenance schedule, ultimately pays off over the long-term by extending length of time a piece of equipment can remain in service.
CAPILLARY TUBING
Currently, the Company has 10 capillary tubing trailers in the field
Management designed everything including the frame components, hydraulic system, and selected the appropriate drivetrain to sufficiently handle the load of the hydraulic system. As a result, they know the equipment well enough to troubleshoot any problems over the phone
The capillary tubing trailers can pump on the fly, both while pulling and running in the hole
The trailers come standard with triplex pumps that are capable of pressure testing up to 6,000 psi
The system can pump third party acid-based chemicals and complete wellbore capillary flushes
The trailers are fully self sufficient with all necessary components to complete every job, including:
Onboard hydraulic air compressors, sheaves, glycol, spools, tubing, check valves, fittings, tools, etc.
CABLE SPOOLING
Currently, the Company has five cable spooling tubing trailers in the field
Management upgraded the entire drive system and the tire drive system to handle continuous use and abuse
The Company’s field service technicians perform the lay down of ESP equipment and generate the lay down reports for all major OEM manufacturers
The cable spooling trailers are equipped with onboard air compressors for the installation of equipment banding as well as clamps from all leading manufacturers: Slingco, Cannon, Winterhawk, Hulk and Grippy clamps
All the cable spooling trailers come standard with:
Self-loading and self-unloading on location capability
Standard 54” sheave – pull tested annually to 7,500 lbs.
Primary and secondary retention points. Fully open spindle type secondary retention, proof tested to 12,000 lbs.
